My husband and I babysat my nephew while his parents took a much needed long weekend together to Vegas. A good portion of our time spent with my nephew was playing the fighting games on his Xbox 360. Neither one of us was familiar with the war video games but my nephew proved to be a patient and thorough instructor. My husband picked up on the game pretty quickly and became a worthy adversary.

I, on the other hand, became the audience to all the fighting games. Every now and again I would ask the boys if they wanted something to drink or to take a break for lunch. It became clear to me that the two of them were going to play the war video games for the better part of the afternoon. It was then that I grabbed my book and performed my own kind of entertainment.

By the end of that long weekend I had finished my book and my husband really was proficient with the Xbox 360 video games. My nephew however, was the humble champion. It did not take him long to jump back on the fighting games after he happily greeted the homecoming of his parents. What are you going to do?
