war video games, xbox 360 video gamesThere is nothing like unloading a machine gun drum of ammo towards digital bad guys or flying a plane on a bomber mission against online opponents while playing war video games. This is bar none my favorite genre. There are the sports, racing, adventure and puzzle Xbox 360 video games lying in the entertainment center but none of them get as much play as the reality based shooters.

Here is why: a lot of my friends play the same shooter online so we have a great time putting a team together and challenging random opponents. It is a really fast-paced gaming experience that changes even if the maps and weapons don’t. Finally, war video games are a perfect place to release stress. Instead of doing something non-constructive when mad or stressed, expending energy into the digital realm is a clean release. That and war video games are a quick way to forget about outside problems and just focus on the task at hand. It doesn’t hurt that there are online retailers with great prices to keep the game library fresh.
